En el año 2046, donde existen los viajes en el tiempo y los combates a muerte son un deporte, un multimillonario realiza improbables peleas televisadas para descubrir al luchador definitivo: samuráis vs vikingos, caballeros vs policías, cowboys vs espartanos… Un policía de los 80 deberá participar en el programa y ganar todos los combates para poder regresar a su pasado.
